Indian subcontinent comprises of four seismic zones those are- II, III, IV and V. The essence of my response via email: HVAC Zones are meant to combine spaces into larger more coherent collections for engineering purposes. I have recently had to use room separation lines as the only way to create rudimentary FM schedules to allocate users and equipment to a desk/zone. Aaron Maller. Thanks for the comments all!

As per IS:1893-2002 earthquake code India is classified into a different zone for which it specifies the seismic zone factor and it is very important to analyze & design the building for a seismic force to prevent damages occur due to earthquake. The floating column is designed as a regular column.

In 2002, GE agreed to pay for and dredge what were dubbed "hot spot" PCB areas in the river. Work continues in the dredge zone around the clock, six days a week, during the work season from May through November. Along the dredge zone, air, water and noise monitoring systems are in place to alert officials to adverse conditions.
