Baltimore City is poised to adopt a new zoning code that is among the most ''green building friendly'' land use ordinances in the country. A green building friendly zoning ordinance is significant when so many local codes including land use ordinances across the country stand in the way of sustainability efforts.

Green Building. Recently I had a friend fall walking near a construction zone while carrying a case of water to her coffee shop. Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes v2008 rating system is proposed to be updated and balloting on the update will begin on February 3, 2014 (. yes, version 2008). Launched in February 2008, LEED for Homes has certified over 43,000 residential units to date. points for CZ 6-8.

Further, we are unable to accurately or efficiently create a gbXML file for use in Green Building Studio, HAP, Trace, etc. The essence of my response via email: HVAC Zones are meant to combine spaces into larger more coherent collections for engineering purposes. I would agree that Zones are the solution in the MEP model.
