The City of Rockville, Maryland has adopted the International Green Construction Code 2012 as mandatory for all commercial and multi family building. Prior to occupancy, the applicant must provide a commissioning report and letter certifying owner receipt of building operations and maintenance documents.

Arlington County is the First to Adopt Incentives Tied to LEED Version 4

On November 15, 2014, the County Board of Arlington County enacted a new policy enhancing and upgrading the green building density incentive program, effective immediately, but projects accepted by the County before September 30, 2015 may continue to use the LEED 2009 and continue to receive the existing less generous incentives.

Pennsylvania is First State to offer Tax Credit for Passive House
