Bill 3-14 would require newly constructed buildings of 10,000 square feet or more or extensively modified buildings to achieve a Silver certification in the appropriate LEED rating system. Current laws require those buildings to achieve a LEED Certified certification.

OSHA has scheduled a series of meeting this month to discuss the crane operator certification requirements in the Cranes and Derricks in Construction standard. The certification requirement, adopted as part of the Aug. 9, 2010 crane rule, requires that all crane operators receive certified by November, 2014.

ALS’s subcontract permitted the DOT to hold back 60% of its payments to assure ALS would warranty the work, which ALS did with site checks performed between June 2019 and May 2020. At trial, however, ALS attempted to portray its 2019-2020 site checks as part of its “core contractual obligations.”

RM: We officially launched in September of 2020. So our network of 2,500 plus raters and rating field inspectors are eligible to do HERS H2O ratings, and as things ramp up, especially as there's more builder demand, we'll see more Raters getting that certification.
