You just linked a developed Revit model into a new project file and you cant seem to find it. If I just imported a project and I cant seem to locate the imported model the first thing I do is setup my radar. Open each view individually and zoom all (ZA) until you find the model you are looking for. ArchiCAD vs Revit.

Always Be Phase Aware In every project file your modeled components have a phase created and a phase demolished parameter whether you like it or not. If you place a model component in a view that is set to the New Construction phase (under View Properties), that component automatically gets placed in the New Construction phase.

This isnt necessarily a bad habit as long as they are using detail lines and not model lines (detail lines are view specific but model lines will show up everywhere). Some food for thought: Could it (read that as "it will") be better to let the walls be modeled as they will be built (with dead spaces in between), rather than using in-place walls that simply mimic old methodologies, like CAD or Hand drawn lines filled with poche or hatching? It is more suited to a model that is about graphics.
