I have a degree in architecture from Virginia Tech. I worked as an architect and had a lot of experience with CAD, ArchitecturalDesktop, AutoCAD, and those types of programs. Then, I started to get into Revit on the architecture side. After that, I went into facilities management and operations.

Once the principals saw the data loss and loss of efficiency from such workarounds they got over the look of the documents. especially as documents became a secondary deliverable to the coordinated BIM.
