The office I worked for didnt use Revit for developing working drawings but I do remember wishing that I could add text to linestyles (for phone, elec, gas, etc) and I remember having trouble understanding phases but I got a lot of help from users on Zoogdesign (now AUGI).

Ive been teaching our office how to use Revit Architecture. We used to complain that CAD drawings looked horrible and now that concept has nearly been forgotten. I used to spend (not hours, not days) weeks fighting wall cleanups in Revit and our designs changed so frequently we needed a quick and clean way to get complete drawings.

Just draw a reference plane at the angle you want (and in the location you want for your section line) then place your section line adjacent to the reference plane.
