We are not a DOT company; we don’t do bridges, we don’t do highways. I had a knack for Revit because of my residential, architecture, and building background. We do government buildings, warehouses, schools, and parking garages. If you ever go downtown and there’s public parking, that’s what we build.

Daryl wrote on Monday that the concept of View Discipline isnt documented well. Software documentation tends to be a bit dry, too often a very literal, "Un-checking this turns the feature off". Daryl used plan views as his example of how the help documentation isnt accurate. They wont with Architecture. View Discipline.

The organisation uses Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) collection including the Autodesk’s Construction Cloud platform. Now, it is possible to easily access to and align our activities with all BIM processes and standards thanks to the document management features on Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro.

In 2006 I demonstrated (at Autodesk University) the then new line based family type by explaining how we could use it to document egress path requirements also known as exiting plans.
