Spaces (created in Revit MEP ) can be bounded by elements in linked models, in the host model, or in both. In Revit MEP , spaces use the computation height that is defined in the architectural model. I have noticed that when I get architectural models with excessive grouping that they bog down my MEP models. I try to keep the my linked architectural model as clean as possible and one thing that seem to help is breaking up groups. Open the architectural model and expand groups in the project browser. Currently the room tags are reading information from the room object in the linked architectural model and I link that view. The space object in the MEP model linkst to the room object in the architectural model. The space object will read the room information from the room object and can be tagged by view in the MEP model.

The fact that we can generate elevations and sections easily and that they are derived from the model without drawing them completely from scratch is wonderful. Schedules are never wrong!
