You just linked a developed Revit model into a new project file and you cant seem to find it. If I just imported a project and I cant seem to locate the imported model the first thing I do is setup my radar. Open each view individually and zoom all (ZA) until you find the model you are looking for. Design Reform.

Always Be Phase Aware In every project file your modeled components have a phase created and a phase demolished parameter whether you like it or not. If you place a model component in a view that is set to the New Construction phase (under View Properties), that component automatically gets placed in the New Construction phase.

No one else is going to be able to edit ANY modeled elements that are on that workset. or do a save to central and relenquish user-created worksets so other users can work on the model too. The task was to demolish a 1980s addition, restoring the building to its original design, and then adding our own additions.
