And I mean, everything, getting IFC drawings, as-builts, shop-drawings, or magical, know it all 3-7D (+) models. You can bring in the ‘magic painters’ that will paint the dots on the butterfly early in, but with little use, if your caterpillar is still merrily chewing on the green leaves. So, imagine a detail.

The design team may be liable for design elements that were not clearly shown in their design drawings, but as the building should be fully designed there is lower risk of that happening. As long as all of the design I’s are dotted and T’s crossed, there is little risk of project surprises.
