To achieve the result in the third image its is all about how you draw the arc that creates the sphere. In this case the differing result is because the normal(s) of the surface that make the void are different based on the direction of the arc, which is controlled by how you draw it. Revit Zone. You might say, what!

When youre drawing Drafting Lines, you can change the type of curve youre drawing, ie straight, arc, tangent arc, etc, but you cant change the style youre using, ie Wide Lines, Thin Lines, etc. Revit Zone. I particularly like how he separates "Architectural" drawing into three distinct categories. I didnt print something out, draw on it, scan it and e-mail it, nor did I just draw something from scratch. Labels: art , drawing , new technology , practice , tools. Revit Zone. My first reaction was: draw a detail line, which will snap to Revits orthagonal snaps. Revit Zone. The comments and blog entries on this site represent the viewpoints of the author only. Had a user come to me with an off problem last week that had me stumped until I got into the file. Rotate the view based on the angle.

This is a great way to "freeze" a drawing, without having to export to CAD, and it keeps everything in the model. Revit Zone.
