Yesterday Nemetschek (makers of Vetorworks) announced plans to aquire Graphicsoft (makers of ArchiCAD). I guess I could say more than I think Archiworks sounds better than VectorCAD. They are both strong programs with good followings and I believe getting together now is a smart move for both. In order to better understand the landscape of construction management education, I am looking to find out which degrees are most coveted by construction management and general contracting firms – primarily for entry level positions. The two main degrees that I come up with are Construction Management and Construction Engineering. As I review the various sources for C-School rosters, I see that both ASC and ACCE provide a great start.
