23rd Walgreens Facility Under Construction

The Korte Company

The Korte Company has begun construction on its 23rd Walgreens facility, a 670,000 square foot distribution center in Anderson County, South Carolina. The center will house 95 dock positions, a two-story 40,000 s.f. administrative office, shipping and receiving areas, and a truck maintenance depot. Completion is scheduled for Summer 2007.

Korte Begins Construction on Flamingo West Mini-Storage Project

The Korte Company

The Korte Company began work on a design-build project for a mini storage facility that will include both a 24,700 square foot tilt-up office building as well as a number of manufactured storage buildings that will total 130,000 square feet. Located at 9225 W. Flamingo Road, the $6,230,000 facility is expected to be completed in the fall of this year.

Mexican Remodel Complete

As we are preparing to return to the U.S. for awhile, I want to show you how the completed remodelling project turned out on the little house we rented in Bernal, Mexico. In my last post I described how I created a roof over the open patio/courtyard. Since then I have totally enclosed the space by adding an end-wall created primarily with a huge steel window/door frame that the landlord had in his back yard.
