I attended my first natural building workshop in Oregon in 1993. For the next five years, Ianto and I and other members of the CCC traveled all over North America and beyond, training groups in how to build their own homes from the ground under their feet. Another group takes the mixed cob and sculpts it around a window and door frame.

The wind turbines operating at Buffalo’s green energy complex on Lake Erie generate enough electricity to power roughly 15,000 homes; the turbines are under contract to a local utility, Constellation Energy Resources.
