This week, Editor Kathy Wells traveled to the Komatsu Customer Center in Cartersville, Georgia, to meet with product managers and learn more about the latest offerings in integrated construction equipment technology and how smart construction is reshaping the future of earthmoving.

But this time of year I'm reminded of how large and diverse our industry is because this is the time when I hit the road. It's time for a number of industry trade shows , and beginning with World of Concrete in Las Vegas I'll be on the road a few weeks. But I am not second guessing my travel plans for a moment.
