A few weeks ago we noticed that we had a linked architectural model with named and numbered rooms. The weird thing is some of the linked spaces in the MEP model were showing up as “unassigned” Not all of them, just some. Revit User Group of Nebraska. I wanted to use phones and web browsers to acquire and sort BIM data directly from Revit models. I would like mechanical/plumbing in Revit MEP to have the same connection philosophy as Revit Structure using and analytical models. Just like a structural model, the beams and columns do not have to be connected to run structural analisys.

The way I got around the above mentioned error was to open a structural model I received from a different engineer on a different job. Revit User Group of Nebraska.
