Illinois Nixes Statute of Limitations where Asbestos is Discharged into the Environment

The Illinois legislature has passed a bill that repeals both the Statute of Limitations and Statute of Repose for construction if there is an alleged injury resulting from "the discharge into the environment of asbestos." See Senate Bill 2221. The bill has been sent to the governor who is expected to sign it.
