Department of Transportation (DOT) says that you are three times more likely to get into a crash when distracted while using a cell phone. Arkansas has a hand-held cell phone ban for drivers 18 to 20 years old, and for all drivers while in a school zone or highway construction zone. Vermont’s law applies only in work zones.
