I received an email from a Revit MEP user asking about results that don't seem to make sense. This doesn't involve a complex model, just a simple test they did using a single room. I've recommended they reach out to the Autodesk Revit support team so they can examine their dataset first hand. Seems odd to me though.

If you make a Revit family and it is meant to represent something real, tangible, please don't make it 2D only. If you aren't prepared to model it faithfully in three dimensions, at least use a generic box form that is at least dimensionally consistent with the thing you are representing. Resist the temptation to just make it 2D.
