The Korte Company and American Nevada Corporation were recently honored by the NAIOP Southern Nevada, a chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. More than 50 entries were judged, ranging from master-planned office buildings and industrial parks to common area interiors.

Those cottages need some work, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) is spearheading a project to refurbish them. We got in touch with NAIOP to see what we could do to help. There’s a lot to do, including: Stucco patching. Interior and exterior painting. Exterior landscape clean-up.

Highlights on the commercial real estate sector include: Office: The office sector is evolving. In addition to divergences in building demand, office tenants are also downsizing. In fact, in 2013 net absorption of Class A space was more than five times greater than net absorption of Class B and C space.
