So any of the analysis tools in Revit using spaces will be wrong, as most of them use an average over the entire area, (CFM/SF, Average illumination levels/SF etc.).

A long time fellow Revit traveler reached out to me via Revit Lifeline last night asking about zoning clearance ideas. They also want them to prove it doesn't extend into a zone that leans back into the site. I used the floor's offset parameter to move it up above the surface by the zoning height required.

dont think: Do Revit. My journal of work in Revit as part of a 600+ member architecture firm. As anyone who has used Revit to model geometry knows it does not really seem to care about "normals", which if youre familiar with most other 3D modeling software you know exactly what Normals are, even in Sketch-Up! Revit Beginners.
