If I just imported a project and I cant seem to locate the imported model the first thing I do is setup my radar. Open each view individually and zoom all (ZA) until you find the model you are looking for. Green Revit.

Always Be Phase Aware In every project file your modeled components have a phase created and a phase demolished parameter whether you like it or not. If you place a model component in a view that is set to the New Construction phase (under View Properties), that component automatically gets placed in the New Construction phase.

Lets say you have a project with worksets enabled and the whole model is on Workset 1 by default. No one else is going to be able to edit ANY modeled elements that are on that workset. or do a save to central and relenquish user-created worksets so other users can work on the model too. in 2002 and am currently a member of AUGI.

The survey needs to be a part of the Revit model or Revit wont consider it when exporting your site plan to DWG.

Some food for thought: Could it (read that as "it will") be better to let the walls be modeled as they will be built (with dead spaces in between), rather than using in-place walls that simply mimic old methodologies, like CAD or Hand drawn lines filled with poche or hatching? It is more suited to a model that is about graphics.

We often have split level projects and weve had a lot of trouble isolating the stem walls and footings from the rest of the model for use in a foundation plan. like the change is some new data for the model. I upgraded a model once, from Revit 2009 to Revit 2011, and an odd thing happened.
